DEPOSITS

Deposits are strictly non-refundable as they guarantee your booking for your chosen date.  However, in certain cases the deposit can be transferred to another date if the timeframe is appropriate and the date is available. Debbie (owner of Debbie Makes Cakes) reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if either of the above are not suitable.

PAYMENT

A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking and the date required, upon receipt of the signed order confirmation.  Debbie would require the balance to be paid in full 28 days prior to your wedding/event.  If, however, a confirmation is not received after three emails or three telephone calls, Debbie reserves the right to cancel the booking and free the date for other bookings.

DELIVERY

Delivery will be made to the venue at a reasonable time agreed with either you the client or the wedding/event co-ordinator. The cake will be set up in situ and the co-ordinator or representative of the event would sign the delivery form removing all responsibility from Debbie over to the organising representative.   A guide to storage, non-edible items and allergens will be left with the person taking responsibility for the cake.

Photos of the cake will be taken once in place.

However, you are free to arrange collection and delivery yourselves should you so wish.  A collection form would need to be signed on receipt of your cake, handing responsibility from Debbie to the collector or you the client at that point.

Delivery will be charged at £25.00 to deliver and set up your cake within a twenty mile radius of West Kingsdown. If delivery is further afield, then a charge will be discussed at your consultation.
